~Unfinished blog entry :D

Just got back from the SLA Lenten Retreat. :) I discovered a lot of things: about myself, about my friends/LSPO family, about the new SLAs, and about my faith in God. :) Naks naman diba? :)) Pero totoo lahat yun.

I'm super thankful for this retreat. I got to meet new friends and re-meet the friends I already have. I got to know myself better and really think about the things that have been bothering me lately. Si Lord talaga, hindi ka pababayaan. Bibigay talaga yung gusto mo. Lately kasi gusto kong umiyak, para lang malabas yung mga stuff na nararamdaman. Binigay nga ni Lord. :P More or less, two days ako umiyak. :)) Without meaning to! Bigla na lang iiyak ako habang nag-eexplain. :))

I'm humbled and inspired by the kind words from others during this one activity: yung mirror exercise ata. Hindi ko lang kasi akalain na ganun ung impression na naiiwan ko. Na ganun pala iniisip nila about me. :) Nakaka-inspire lang :)

Pero you know, I'll look back at this one day and remember those three days :)

A promise to Future Me :D :))

Today was particularly challenging. And enlightening.

I don't like the way I've been doing stuff lately. Nawala focus ko. Gotta find that focus again. :) Paano kaya? Hahaha!

Basta, BV quiz results. But I will not back down! Kaya ko pang humabol! I made a pact with my seatmate. Parehas kaming hahabol hahahaha! Lezza go 2nd half! Kaya kita! I promised myself I'll take DOCULMG next term :) hehehe [pero feeling ko, pag nakaDOCULMG na ako, sasabihin ko, "*%*&^#*&$# bakit ko minadali toh?" :)) ]

But if something err goes wrong (and let's hope that there won't) , I still have plan B.

Because, as I read in my BDJ planner (hahahah! shameless plug),

Okay, so I've officially decided to not take summer classes. Because hellooo I need a break. I figured this out last night when I just spent hours watching stuff on YouTube. :( The long weekend proved to be short. :P

Summer, oh summer, please come faster! :D

Speaking of, must get into the fitness routine I've been nagging myself to do. Para, pagdating ng beach time, :D:D And my sibs, my cousin & I just made fries so uhm diet starts tomorrow! :D

I just wanna be on the beach! :D

With everything that's been happening, my friends have been there to tease, give advice, and be there for me. :) So, love love love you guys. :)

Goodbye January 2010! :)

Whoa. Time flies. It's already January 31st! End of the 1st month of 2010. What has happened so far? Well, it truly is a new year with a lot of new experiences, opportunities and happenings.

On the love life front (syempre inuna. hahaha para tapos na!) : ask and it will be given. Like they say, be careful what you wish for. Wuh. There are developments that I'd rather share in person. :) Pero no, wala pa akong boyfriend. :) It's just ang daming firsts! First time makatanggap ng chocolate from a 'secret admirer', first time may umamin..and others I'd rather not mention. Hahahah! Nakakagulat lang :)

On the academic front: I love my professors & subjects this term. Except for one, because of something that happened recently. Wahaha. But I love my professors. They make the subjects bearable. I'm having fun. Yes, I say that now. But once midterm/finals come along, I'll be in a dark mood. Wahahaha! Pero we never know :D Plus, my classmates in each subject are fun to be with. :)

On the other activities front: I'm secretary, replacing Dessa who's replacing Ate Maan. Unexpected. I've never held a position like this before. So, it's kinda scary. I promise to do my best though. To balance this, my school work and other stuff. :) Kaya-ble :D hahaha

Gigi's debut! :D First debut I attended this year. Wahaha! :) Mga kakilala ko na nandun were Lolo Don & Kuya Kristian, mybro :P Aaand Calvin, Harri & Cai, Gigi's blockmates & mga choir :)) It was nice :D Simple & heartwarming :)

Presidential forum last Friday! :) It's a shame I didn't get to go into the auditorium. Major fail. Pero watching it in the green screen in school is different from watching it at home. I got to see backstage stuff :)) I'm leaning towards Gibo though. :)

Recruitment week just ended and wow. We had a total of 90 sign-ups! But so far, only like 40+ have submitted the application forms so let's see what happens. :)

Okay so that isn't everything that happened this month. Hahaha more like what happened last week. Pero can I just say though, that I'm super grateful for the friends & family that I have. :) They make life more fun, more colorful & enjoyable. They keep me grounded and are there when I need a hug, someone to talk to, and someone to be crazy with. Thank you!

And to end this, I share with you the reading in Mass kanina :D Yehess, meh ganun diba! :)) Because this month was full of love & happiness for me.

Here's to the end of a great month! :) And on to the beginning of a new one! :) Tamang-tama! February! Month ng pag-ibig! =)) Things to come: RENT, Baccalaureate mass & graduation of friends, Taize Pilgrimage of Trust, the ballet thing Yvette & I are gonna watch for HUMAART. :D And I'm sure there's many more. FTK: For the Kids 2010 :D

It was my first time to attend FTK. Hindi kasi ako aware last year, ang fail. :)) Anyway, this is gonna be short but in no way less meaningful. And medyo antok na me so short nga talaga! Hopefully, it still makes sense!

I love my kid. His name's Chandler. And I was right na they got the name from FRIENDS. Kasi fave daw ni Chan-Chan yun. :) And I saw my kid kanina, it broke my heart to see him so scared of the drums. Severe autism kasi. Medyo sensitive sila sa mga ganung noise. So we had to bring him away from there and find another way to get into the field. Basta, super heartwarming ang experience kasi I really saw the love Chan-Chan's father and older brother had for him. And super na-touch ako kasi aalis na sila and sabi ng dad niya "Catholic ka ba?" and I said yes. And he gave me this parang paper weight na may picture ni Jesus. Sabi niya salamat daw sa time and sa hindi pagiging takot sa kanila. And ayun. Natouch ako super. Kasi di ko yun ineexpect. And ayun. HAHA I'm so articulate noh? :P

Hahaha ayan. Basta yan. As I said sa status ko sa facebook, FTK was tiring. Pero worth it. :) :')
